News for the week

Mentoring Opportunity
A new mentoring program is starting up through the Dream Center. We are looking for people who want to mentor kids in elementary school. The program will take place every other weekend for an hour or two, depending on your schedule. It will coincide with the computer classes for kids down in Taft Homes. The program will officially begin the first week of April with a meeting. For more information or to sign up for the meeting, please contact Kim Todd at 277-4801 or by email at k.todd1@comcast.net

So you think you can dance?
Or even if you can’t dance at all, come learn! Dream Center Peoria is spreading our wings and starting a Dance Studio. Classes will be held Monday and Thursday nights in the track. Many types of Dance will be offered to children and adults alike, including ballet, jazz, hip hop and street dance. Students 12 and under can enjoy 8 weeks of 30 minute classes for $30. Students over 12 will be able to enjoy 8 weeks of 60-minute classes for $40. Classes will take place one night a week starting March 30th.

Keep Fit!
Starting Tuesday March 3rd, the Dream Center Fitness Program will take place from 6-7pm in the track area. A trainer will be on site to help get you fit. Each class costs $2 to help with lighting and equipment, but don’t let that stop you. Come check it out!
